Azerbaijan's rich culture

What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we started our tour, I knew it would be something special. Ali, our guide, did an outstanding job of introducing us to Baku’s rich history. The Old City (Icherisheher) felt like stepping back in time, with its ancient streets and landmarks. The Shirvanshahs' Palace was truly majestic, and I loved learning about the country’s heritage. The tour’s next destination, Gobustan National Park, was absolutely fascinating. I had never seen anything like the ancient petroglyphs and mud volcanoes – such a unique experience! Sheki was equally mesmerizing, surrounded by the beautiful Caucasus Mountains. Fuad guided us around the Sheki Khan’s Palace, and it was one of the most striking buildings I’ve ever visited, especially with its gorgeous stained-glass windows. We also had the chance to see the Mamirli Waterfall, which was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I loved the charming town of Gakh too, a hidden gem in the region. All in all, this tour was the perfect way to explore Azerbaijan’s culture, history, and stunning natural beauty. Liam O. 11.02.2024
