This tour was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived in Baku, I was captivated by the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Ali, our guide, did an excellent job of introducing us to the highlights of the city, particularly the historical Old City (Icherisheher). The Maiden Tower was a personal favorite, and the Shirvanshahs' Palace was even more breathtaking than I had imagined. In addition to the historical sites, we were lucky to experience the futuristic side of Baku, especially the Flame Towers and Heydar Aliyev Center. The next leg of the journey, Sheki, was like stepping into a different world. The lush green mountains surrounding the town were absolutely serene, and the Sheki Khan’s Palace was one of the most impressive buildings I’ve ever seen, especially with its magnificent stained-glass windows. Fuad, our guide in Sheki, shared fascinating insights about the region’s role in the Silk Road and the town’s history. I was also amazed by the tranquil beauty of the Mamirli Waterfall. This tour is a perfect combination of rich culture, history, and nature. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the best of Azerbaijan. Julia Ma 28.11.2023
