On Day 1, after your arrival in Gusar, spend the afternoon visiting the Gusar History Museum, where you’ll learn about the region’s fascinating history and culture. In the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner at a local restaurant, and then relax in the cool mountain air.
Day 2 takes you to Shahdag Mountain Resort, just an hour away from Gusar. Depending on the season, enjoy panoramic views from the cable cars or venture on a short hike through the stunning Caucasus landscapes. After exploring the resort, you’ll return to Gusar for a peaceful evening and dinner.
On Day 3, you’ll head to Guba, just an hour and a half from Gusar. Explore the charming town, visit the Guba Apple Orchards, and experience the warm hospitality of the locals. After a full day in Guba , return to Gusar for a relaxing evening.
On Day 4, as you head back to Baku, stop at Gobustan National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its ancient petroglyphs and stunning mud volcanoes. Once you arrive in Baku, take some time to explore the Old City (Icherisheher) with its narrow streets and historical landmarks. You will also have time to visit Baku Boulevard along the Caspian Sea before heading to the airport for your departure.

Stop en route at Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to visit the famous petroglyphs (rock carvings) and mud volcanoes. This area offers a fascinating glimpse into Azerbaijan’s prehistoric past, with carvings that date back to 5,000–40,000 years ago. Afternoon: Continue the drive to Baku and arrive in the afternoon. Explore the Old City (Icherisheher), a UNESCO-listed historical site with landmarks such as the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs' Palace, and the Juma Mosque. Take a leisurely stroll along Baku Boulevard with beautiful views of the Flame Towers and the Caspian Sea. Wonderful experience
This tour was a perfect way to disconnect and enjoy nature while learning about the local culture. Fuad’s knowledge of Gusar and Guba was impressive, and I enjoyed every stop. The visit to Shahdag Mountain Resort was one of the highlights, with its stunning views. The Guba Carpet Museum was fascinating, and the visit to the orchards was so peaceful. Great Historical and Nature-Focused Tour
The combination of history and nature made this tour exceptional. Lamia did a wonderful job guiding us through Gusar’s History Museum, and the trip to Shahdag Mountain Resort was a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Caucasus Mountains. The Guba Carpet Museum and Apple Orchards were lovely, and the Guba Genocide Memorial was a poignant reminder of the country’s history. Guba and Gusar
I had an amazing time on this tour! Ali was a fantastic guide who made sure we had all the details about the region’s culture and history. Well-balanced tour

An Immersive Experience
The tour was an excellent. Lamia did a great job introducing us to the history of the northern regions. I especially loved the visit to the Guba Genocide Memorial, which was very moving. The panoramic views from Shahdag Mountain Resort were absolutely breathtaking, and I really enjoyed hiking through the mountains. I’ll definitely be back for another adventure! Lena 23.12.2022
