On Day 1, after your arrival in Gusar, spend the afternoon visiting the Gusar History Museum, where you’ll learn about the region’s fascinating history and culture. In the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner at a local restaurant, and then relax in the cool mountain air.
Day 2 takes you to Shahdag Mountain Resort, just an hour away from Gusar. Depending on the season, enjoy panoramic views from the cable cars or venture on a short hike through the stunning Caucasus landscapes. After exploring the resort, you’ll return to Gusar for a peaceful evening and dinner.
On Day 3, you’ll head to Guba, just an hour and a half from Gusar. On Day 4, as you head back to Baku, stop at Gobustan National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its ancient petroglyphs and stunning mud volcanoes. Once you arrive in Baku, take some time to explore the Old City (Icherisheher) with its narrow streets and historical landmarks. You will also have time to visit Baku Boulevard along the Caspian Sea before heading to the airport for your departure.

Stop en route at Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to visit the famous petroglyphs (rock carvings) and mud volcanoes. This area offers a fascinating glimpse into Azerbaijan’s prehistoric past, with carvings that date back to 5,000–40,000 years ago. Afternoon: Continue the drive to Baku and arrive in the afternoon. Explore the Old City (Icherisheher), a UNESCO-listed historical site with landmarks such as the Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs' Palace, and the Juma Mosque. Take a leisurely stroll along Baku Boulevard with beautiful views of the Flame Towers and the Caspian Sea. Trip to paradise
What a peaceful and lovely tour! The stay in Gusar was so relaxing, and the Gusar History Museum gave us a great understanding of the local culture. Lamia’s guiding was informative and friendly, making each stop along the way enjoyable. The trip to Shahdag Mountain Resort was beautiful, and I enjoyed the cable car ride. Amazing Cultural Journey
This tour exceeded my expectations. Elnara was an excellent guide who shared fascinating details about the region’s history. I particularly enjoyed the visit to the Guba Genocide Memorial, which was a moving and important stop. The 4-day tour was a fantastic way to experience the beauty of Azerbaijan’s northern regions. Fuad made our time in Gusar unforgettable with his knowledge of the history and culture. The Gusar Bazaar was lovely, and the local cuisine was delicious. I also loved the peaceful evening walks in Gusar. This 4-day tour was exactly what I needed! I loved staying in Gusar, with its tranquil surroundings and quaint charm. Lamia was an exceptional guide who made sure we learned about the local culture and history. The Shahdag Mountain Resort was stunning, and the hike was such a refreshing experience. Guba and Gusar
From the warm hospitality of the locals to the rich history of the region, this tour provided an authentic Azerbaijani experience. The visit to the Guba Carpet Museum was a highlight, and Elnara's insights about the art of carpet weaving were fascinating.
