Scenic Hike to Chiragli Village

The majority of the route consists of dirt roads, with the rest being mountain trails. The paths are well-defined and fully marked. Begin at the information board and follow the signs. Shortly ahead, the road divides—take the left path. Further on, where the road for vehicles ends and splits again, choose the right path. After 1.6km, navigate to the right of the hill ahead, then veer left. At 1.2km, cross over the hill for a stunning view, or bypass it on the right. After another 1.7km, you'll reach a vehicle road—turn right. Continue until you see an old cemetery, where you’ll take a right at the crossroads. 2.4km past the cemetery, ignore the road branching to the left and go straight.

The route before the cemetery primarily traverses open, treeless areas, transitioning to sparse forest. It is mostly downhill or flat, with a few short climbs. The destination is Chiragli village, accessible only by vehicle from Goygol, despite being part of Dashkasan.

This trail can also be hiked in reverse. The trail is accessible year-round.

There are no shops along the trail, so stock up on supplies before starting. Chiragli village has basic shops.

A spring is located 1km from the information board, with five more along the route and others in Chiragli village.

No special permissions are needed for this hike.

Note

Shepherd camps are common along the route from May to October. Watch out for shepherd dogs, but shepherds can assist if needed.
